Shirakat a non-governmental organization working on social justice and gender equality and want to appoint a Finance Officer
1. Major Responsibilities ;
- Preparing payment and receipt vouchers
- Monitoring the timely disbursement of payments
- Check cash receipt and bank voucher and resolve issues
- Preparation of financial reports
- Timely payment of taxes
- Preparing bank reconciliations statements of projects
- Preparing payroll and reconciliations
- Reconciliation of Grants of projects.
- Maintaining petty cash of project office
- Coordination for Audit of project
- Preparation of budget.
- Handling arrangement of transportation for field activities, air tickets, arrangements for meetings.
- Insure payments of all types of bills on time
- Updating of Inventory Registers and Fixed Asset
- Office administration and maintenance
- Daily attendance of project staff
- Management of project events
- Day to day purchases and procurement for project activities
- Task assigned by supervisor
2. Qualifications ;
The following are the requirement for this position:
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), ACCA, ICMA from recognized university
- Minimum relevant experience of 4 years
- Computer literate with good command on MS Office.
- Experience in Quickbooks and Peachtree softwares
- Applicants from Layyah will be preferred.
3. Personal Skills ;
- Good interpersonal and communication skill,
- Good command of written and spoken Urdu and English, Punjabi will be an asset.
- Ability to meet deadlines,
- Team player and problem-solving skill,
- Ability to work under pressure and gender sensitive,
- Honest and competent.
